My 18th BdaY ceLebRatIon!! ( I )

HmMn... poor Fz is sick... I was running a fever the moment i got home after the whole celebration by my chess club gang lastnite. Actually, this is a delayed post, in fact i was so excited to blog down whatever that had happened but couldn't make it cos i was feeling real horrible.


My whole body was aching like hell sia. But whatever it is, i'm still pretty much in that high mood cos i really enjoyed myself lastnight. Couldn't wait to blog down this entry the moment i got up this morning..

Okie... enough of Fz's ill feelings aside...WEeee... i would use 3 words to describe lastnight's celebration! It was definitely INCREDIBLE, AWESOME N TOUCHING! Seriously, i didn't know that they had put in so much effort in planning this occassion, especially my 6 years of Hao Jie Mei, Xin Lan, who's the 'mastermind' behind this entire event! wOo... my first 18th bday celebration that was celebrated by them in advance was definitely filled with lots of wonderful surprises and i felt really great!

okk... let me start with the whole story of how i nearly got tricked by all of them.. guess the moment i recall all these happenings, i will have the urge to roll on the floor and laugh! haha... yeah. Firstly, on Sunday night, I received a funny msg from Xin Lan. She actually asked me to meet them at Tamp Control Station at 5 p.m... And then I asked her who's going and where will we be heading to? But her weird reply was..." After a heated arguement, we have decided on Seoul Garden..." Wee.. this sms left me stunned. Cos i was thinking if there was really a need for them to argue over such trivial matters. Haha... i was thinking, perhaps she was trying to mislead me. As far as i know, they have been trying to plan for this after our IJOC competition yeah. It's so sweet of them yeah...

The next day (Monday)... I was in a rather good mood. For once, i was punctual... however, no one had arrived then. Hmn.... in the first place how can they let the bday girl wait for them!! haha... Immediately, i called xin lan cos i felt something amiss... cos never was once she was later than me in any of our meetings in the past wor... Yeah, when she picked up my call, she attempted to trick me saying tt she's still walking from home under the Mrt tracks... However, i waited and waited for 20 over mins. alone but to no avail. Then... i suspected that something was wrong. While waiting for them, I actually had a pretty scary encounter. Then was this ah pek/uncle who was trying to unlock his bicycle outside cheers( the place i waited for them...) and he tried to communicate with me... either in Chinese or Hokkien. I could barely hear him and i tried to ignore him cos i had a bad feeling that he may approach me. Oh no... i paced outside cheers up and down and he kept turning back to look at me!! argh... at that time i felt really awkward and freaked out. This lao ah pek... i feel like boxing him lah! When he finally left on his bike, he put up 2 fingers like a "twist" sign and then rode off! Omg... i think he must be a lunatic from somewhere although he seem pretty normal to me on his appearance.

After this... I called xin lan again, and this time our 'dearest' Keith actually picked up the hp. He attempted to bluff me that i actually called wrongly to his phone despite me checking my caller ID several times while talking to him. In the end, i gave up... and i was seriously confused by all of them. hahaha...after moments later again... my dear xin lan FINALLY arrived! argh... and that time i saw her holding a bouquet (a dozen) of handmade roses from far (omg... did i mention b4 that i simply love roses!!!wee~ =), in fact, she pretended not to see me till i approached her! ah!! she simply passed me tt beautiful bouquet and said that it was from all of them. All of them will not be able to make it as exams were around the corner. She just informed me that we will be having dinner with our junior Jun Ming. hmn... at that time, i was a little disappointed, but still v.happy that they made the effort to turn up yeah. As we headed for Seoul Garden, i started to qns them on the escalator... and xin lan told me that most prob i had really called wrongly to Keith. HMmmMM... i tot something was fishy then... based also on the fact that it was highly not possible for just 3 ppl to be having our meals at Seoul Garden. hehe... but still i follwed them...

The moment i reached Seoul Garden i actually saw all of them sitting inside, awaiting my arrival. *surprise!*At that time, I was seriously surprised and really touched that they have made the efforts to come down! There were 7 of us. Yan Bing, Jun Ming, Xin Lan, DaoHow, Keith and Zhi Wei! This includes our 2 grand seniors that have graduated 3 years back! wee~~ i was so excited to see them! their presence was really unexpected yeah...After this 1st surprise, Zhi Wei handed me a big *me-to-u* bday card from all of them. And Xin lan handed me a gift box. In it, contains a pair of hand-made pink earrings by her sister and a necklace with a pendant made of pink crystals from all of them! wow~ it was really a great n beautiful gift!!! Love it lots!!!

Here's what written in the bday card:

Keith: Hi! (A big Hi!) This is from Keith. Happy Bdae! Study Hard 4 Ur Exams k? Oh yea... you're now older le.

Zhi Wei (senior): Helloooo! You're a year older, so grow up la! haa... wish you all the best in all you do... zhi wei ^^

Yan Bing: Hey Fengzhi, Happy Birthday girl! I have only known you for a while so I don't really know what to write.. haha.. So I wish u very the best in everything u do. May u grow wiser, cleverer, prettier, sexier and everything.. as you progress on the inevitable path of getting older =). Luv, Yan Bing.

DaoHao(Senior): Yo! Happy 18th Bday! Gd luck for your A'Level. All the Best!, Dao Hao.

Xin Lan: (ai de liu yan)... shen re kuai le! My Bao Bei Fengzhi!!! YEAH!!! My turn to write on your card...hehe... very big ba...haha... hope you like it anyway!!! Many many stuff to tell you...but many ppl will peep so cannot write until very mushy...haha... CONGRATS!!! YOU ARE 18 TOO!!! hOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT bIRTHDAY AND i AM SURE YOU WILL!!! =p This is our 6th year together and you have been a great buddy!!! So for my bao bei buddy... I wish that you will only encounter great things in your future...meaning good stuff only!!! Then i will tell the Gods to protect u k!!! haha... but really i hope you will always be happy and cheerful cos...you are my..xin zhong de ming ri guang!!! see so important right!!! Jun Ming... he couldn't write in time. haha.. anyway, was really glad that he made the effort to turn up too despite him having another outing in tm with his friends. He was running between 2 tables in Seoul Garden. haha...

Phew~ finally finished typing these bday wishes! Anyway.. while waiting for our food to be cook... Yan Bing showed me a few slides of their cake making process! In fact, all of them actually met up at 12 at xin lan's place to make a bday cake for me!!! I am so touced!! this is the frist time in my whole life after coming to 18 years on Earth that someone had made a cake for me on my bday!!! oh gosh! it was definitely a memorable one! it was a fruit cake professionally coated with gelatin and wrapped 'stylishly' with crushed oreo cookies! wahaha... Woo...it's so thoughtful of them...

While having dinner... we cracked lots of jokes and nonsense over the table. Initially we wanted to catch a late movie.. however, xin lan had to make it home by 11 plus so we decided to head for either the beach or airport for some chit-chat and gossiping session! Wee... during dinner, the guys tried to do teppanyaki style of beansprouts with lots of chilli padi and garlic! wahaha... well, i felt that it tasted quite nice afterall although it was abit burn! And we started to make fun of keith too. ahaha... cos every single food that went onto the hotplate... he will be saying"add Garlic, Add garlic!!" haha... then Dao How came out with a marvellous idea. He said, since Keith love garlic so much... we shall call him "GARLIC!" wahaha... at that time all of us nearly rolled on the floor and laugh.. THen i added on, we shld call him "Garlic Keith... anyway, the name Keith sound like a prawn... so it can be a name of a dish!" hehehhee... then Jun Ming continued.." anyway keith looks abit like a prawn!" -_-" hahaha... good grief... luckily he didn't mind us making fun of him. But i was really sure that we were the noisest grp in the packed Seoul Garden.. hehe. Before bringing out the cake.... we actually heard 3 bday songs... And the guys were actually commenting that they could not take it anymore! They wanted to outbeat all those bday songs! True enough... that managed to make 'shy' Fz embarrassed... haha. *blush* They actually sang so loudly that i think some ppl were perhaps pissed.. =X... gosh... haha. They made me bite the last candle on the cake! while the rest nearly attempted to push my whole head down sia! Luckily i was alert enough! hehe... after our cake eating session we left for the outdoor playground at tm outside pastamania.

Hehe.. it was there when all of us looked so kiddy and childish. Our thunderous laughter had actually 'chased' a couple away. Oops... and i find the playground rather special... it actually look like metal gadgets to me instead. In fact, i was "encouraged" by them to sit on this particular swing which revolves round and round. Omg... i nearly fainted sia! they turned the swingy like thing so hard that i felt that i was going to fly out!!! Serious!! it was that bad... even after the swing stopped turning... i still felt really dizzy, all i knew was that the environment around me was still spinning. woo... it was this bad sia. it was then, when i started to feel a little uncomfortable physically... =X

After tt, we took bus 27 all the way to airport... as e viewing mall was down.. we headed for Mcs! wee... we crapped alot over the table and even played stupid games like "zhong ji mi ma" and true or dare. Haha.. then we made Zhi wei do stupid things like getting 7 cups of free water from the counter!! ahahhaa...it was so funny as we were out to paiseh him.. After that we con't to play the game thru' out until xin lan and keith had to leave first. So there were only Dao How, Zhi Wei, Yan Bing and myself left. Still we managed to derive lots of fun and were crapping all the way.. manage to touch on some rumours and gossips in chess club in the past and talked alot about friendship and love as usual... wee... finally i got to understand them to a greater extent yeah. We were busy amusing ourselves all the way until i requested that we make a move as it was really late past midnight already and i was feeling really horrible...

My teeth was chattering away as it was super cold in the airport. I decided to take a cab back and the others send me off before leaving by bus. On the cab, i felt that my head was spinning terribly le...was so afraid that i would faint sia.when i got home... i felt really weak... i quickly took a bath and went to bed after taking my med. However, i couldn't catch any sleep until 5 plus!! My dad gave me another panadol, 5 carbon pills and a small doze of tranquilizer to help me to sleep... =X
For once, i felt that i'm a med.machine. Just gorging down lots of pills. haha

hmn... i'm feeling abit better today... but my head's still spinning and body's aching terribly. will be going to the doc. later. Can't afford to fall sick during this crucial exam period and also before tmr!! aw... anyway that's all for now. Feel more relief after putting down yesterday's event and my feelings...

Just wanna say.. a big thank you to all of u!!! Thanks for making this 18th bday such a sweet and memorable one! really appreciate all ur efforst! Fz is so lucky to have u guys with me! yeah... =)

Hope my blog-readers will enjoy this entry although it's super long and perhaps lots of errors... hopefully u can pardon me for my current state of mind. hee. Although sick, i'm looking forward to tmr whereby Fz turns 18 officially! yeah... bye...
