-->A quick check... read my poem in the previous entry? haha.
Just a personal reflection...
As cliche as it may sound... y do we always need to lose somethg before we realise it's importance to us? no one can answer that. Simply becos I am doing it. U r doing it. Everyone's doing it. Who cares? We are aware of this fact but most of us can't give a damn cos we can never turn back time.
I hate to say this... Actually most of the time, out of the situations that we are caught in.. 90% of e time, the problem usually lies in us. Whether its a mistake thats made or its just some innate character flaw, all of us are bound to encounter with clashes among ourselves.
For example, when we are being led on by another person, that party is at fault of taking us for granted. However, we have to take up the responsibility for making ourselves an available prey to them. We are conscious about it yet man STILL chooses to walk 'gracefully' into the trap just to seek temporary happiness or attention... which is obviously not somethg we really want. In another words, it means we are self-deceiving. Is it worth this sacrifice just for the momentary relieve? The standard answer is to reject this option. YET we still do it.
y do we always have to burn our fingers before realising that it's dangerous and it's gonna scar. u may argue that w/o experiencing, we'll never know how far anythg can develop into... BUT what's the pt. of trying when we already know the ending right from the beginning( with respect to r/s... esp. for ppl who are caught in between being friends or the ambiguity of being a lil more-than-friends... here and there.) this is sickening. It forces one to a pt. whereby u will start to suspect if u are a real dumb ass or fool on the run.
Another scenario...Do u remember when we were lil kids and when we didn't pass well for our exams... we usually push the blame to the difficulty of the paper or how horrible our teacher is. I recall telling my dad back then that only 1 person passed in that subject, so this shows how challenging it was. BUt all he had to say was... why are u not the only one that passed it? As simple as that, it was enough to shut me up with all my excuses. Dun misunderstood that my dad has got extremely high expectations. Actually, the truth lies in the fact that one did study hard... but not study smart. There is nothing impossible.. as long as it is within our means. All it takes is a lil effort and self-motivation which MANY of us find it so hard to commit in.
Remember that whenever we point our finger at others for the horrible plight that we are in, the remaining 9 fingers should be directed back to ourselves. It's time many of us should learn to grow up and be responsible for our own actions(n this includes myself).
Whenever u do somethg voluntarily...dun expect it to be appreciated, cos if it really happens, then it's probably a bonus. However, the basic is tt we do not deliberately hurt or betray ppl who were once there for us. To me, there's no reason to justify it n definitely unacceptable...
This is just the way i am taught n brought up in...haha. Shall lift off the serious tone n be back with a more funky entry. ciAoz~
